Joan is the principal of The Joan Shaffer Group.

My guiding principles are hard work and honesty in all my dealings with customers and clients. I strive to be different from every other REALTORŪ in the way I stay connected with my clients. I offer a large selection of Value-Added Services from which my clients can choose.

My mission is to make sure you get where you want to go on time, keeping you in the strongest negotiating position possible, reducing your risk, delivering on my promises, solving any problems that might arise and always being fair and honest!

My clients can count on me to be there when they need me, to listen closely to their needs and to provide strong guidance and support during the entire real estate process. I truly love this profession.    Nothing makes me happier than making a positive difference in the lives of all my clients!

The following designations are a result of many hours of classes and years of experience: CRS (Council of Residential Specialists - only 4% of all real estate practitioners have been awarded this designation!), ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative), GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute), ePRO (Internet Real Estate Professional). I've been a REALTORŪ and a member of the National Association of REALTORS since 1977.   Special training in residential and commercial appraising and investment brokerage is also a part of my background.   

As a REALTOR I follow the "Code of Ethics" of the National Association of Realtors and participate in ethical standards classes for the practice of real estate.  Beware!  Not all sales agents are REALTORSŪ - there is a difference!

The Colorado Real Estate Commission has stringent requirements that real estate brokers must follow to remain in good standing including annual training about all the changes that continually are made to real estate law and practices.
